Xi’an Conservatory of Music

1. All applicants applying to study at XACM must attend the Preliminary Review and follow-up Examination and Interview. Only those who have passed both the Preliminary Review and the follow-up Examination and Interview can be admitted. After admission, we will issue the Admission Notice and the Visa Application for Study in China Form(JW202).

2. Admitted overseas candidates shall go to the Chinese embassies (consulates) abroad to apply for study (X1) visa with passport, Admission Notice, the Visa Application for Study in China Form (JW202).

3. Admitted candidates shall come and register at XACM with the required documents on time specified in the Admission Notice. Those who cannot register within the specified time due to any special circumstances must explain the reason by sending a formal application via e-mail to the International Office in advance, and may postpone their registration after getting the approval.

4. At registration, our conservatory will review all the original application documents and the physical examination records of the international freshmen. After passing the review, the student will be registered; If the materials are found to be inconsistent with the actual situation, the admission qualification will be canceled.

5. A trial study system shall be adopted for the first school year upon registration. After passing the required assessment, the students will be transferred to the second grade.
